Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers while contributing to the store's success. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Customer Engagement: Act as a Kitchen Stuff Plus ambassador, delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
- Sales: Maintain thorough knowledge of product features, benefits, and promotions, assisting customers in finding the best solutions for their needs.
- Cash Handling: Process cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Store Maintenance: Support replenishment efforts and ensure the store remains organized and visually appealing.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure smooth store operations.
- Problem Solving: Address and escalate customer inquiries or issues when necessary.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to Kitchen Stuff Plus’ Health and Safety Policy and Program.
- Other Duties: Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ladder use (up to 10 feet), and other directives as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To succeed as a Sales Associate, you’ll need the following:
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new technological systems quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and additional shifts during the busy holiday season.

- Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is an asset.
