Salary: $26.63/hour
Serco Canada is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Driver Examiner 2 to join its DriveTest Centre team in Burlington, Ontario. This position provides an excellent opportunity to evaluate driving skills and contribute to road safety in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct road tests to assess applicants’ driving abilities for G2, G, M2, M, and controlled class licenses.
- Observe and evaluate applicants’ compliance with traffic laws, handling of vehicles, and driving behavior, including their ability to manage stressful situations.
- Provide detailed feedback on applicants’ driving skills, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Complete evaluation forms for road test assessments and enter results into the system.
- Assist applicants with licensing inquiries, test procedures, and re-testing information.
- Conduct road tests for special needs applicants or those with disabilities.
- Travel to various locations to provide testing and licensing services, as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and Ministry of Transportation policies, including confidentiality requirements.
- Perform other related tasks, including special projects, as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Education/Certifications: High school diploma or GED.
- Driver’s License: Must hold a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with at least four years of driving experience.
- Skills: Strong customer service experience, preferably two years or more.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Highway Traffic Act and related regulations is an asset.
- Experience: Previous experience with driver testing or customer service is preferred.
- Additional Requirements: Must pass Criminal Record Check (CPIC) and Fingerprint Criminal Record Check.
Working Conditions
This position requires both mental and physical effort, including moderate-intensity activities. Shifts may include extended hours, evenings, and weekends during busy periods. Attendance at formal training sessions is mandatory, and employment is contingent on successful completion of training.
