Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a vital role in:
Customer Service:
- Act as a professional ambassador of Kitchen Stuff Plus.
- Build lasting customer relationships by delivering exceptional service.
- Address and resolve customer issues, escalating when necessary.
Sales and Store Operations:
- Stay informed about product features, promotions, and in-store marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and store goals.
- Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Stocking and Maintenance:
- Replenish merchandise and maintain organized displays.
- Perform basic shipping and receiving tasks.
- Ensure the store remains clean, safe, and inviting.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Shift Leader.
- Assist team members to maintain a positive, productive work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable using ladders up to 10 feet.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
