Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Road Tests: Evaluate driving ability for G2, G, M2, M, and controlled class licenses (ABZ) as applicable. Assess mechanics, handling, compliance with traffic laws, and adherence to safe driving practices.
- Provide Feedback: Communicate test results, highlight errors, and provide areas for improvement.
- Customer Support: Respond to inquiries about licensing procedures and assist applicants with special needs or disabilities during testing.
- Administrative Tasks: Verify candidate information, complete evaluation forms, and input road test results into the system.
- Adherence to Policies: Comply with all operational regulations, confidentiality requirements, and safety protocols.

- Customer Service Expertise: Strong interpersonal skills to handle challenging situations and deliver exceptional service.
- Driving and Assessment Skills: Comprehensive understanding of driving behaviors, hazard perception, and accident avoidance.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to assess candidate performance accurately and ensure uniformity in evaluations.
- Clear Communication: Adaptable communication style to explain test procedures, results, and expectations effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong judgment and decision-making abilities to manage sensitive situations.
- Resilience: Ability to perform under pressure and maintain professionalism in difficult interactions.
Qualifications
- Education: GED or high school diploma required.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid Ontario Class G license with a minimum of four years of driving experience. Additional Class M and/or controlled class license is preferred.
- Driving Record: No more than four demerit points and three violations throughout employment.
- Experience: At least two years of customer service experience, with intermediate computer proficiency.
