Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Agent, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Ontarians through the driver’s licensing process. Your primary duties include:
- Providing Frontline Service: Delivering accurate information and assistance to applicants regarding licensing rules and regulations.
- Document Verification: Assessing identity documents for validity and ensuring compliance with Ontario’s licensing policies.
- Driver Examination Support: Conducting vision screening, taking applicant photographs, administering written/oral knowledge tests, and scheduling road tests.
- Transaction Processing: Collecting fees, issuing temporary licenses, and preparing necessary reports.
- Problem Resolution: Investigating driver record discrepancies and initiating necessary corrections.
- Adherence to Standards: Complying with all operational, confidentiality, health and safety, and quality policies.
- General Duties: Completing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Knowledge of Licensing Policies: Familiarity with the Highway Traffic Act and related regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (minimum education requirement).
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license.
- Successful completion of Serco’s Customer Service Agent training program.
- At least two years of experience in a customer service role.
- Intermediate computer proficiency.
