Job Overview
SSP Canada is looking for a dedicated Baker to join their team at Tim Hortons located inside Toronto Pearson International Airport. As a Baker, you will play an essential role in preparing and baking a variety of delicious products, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, and supporting your team to deliver the best baked goods to customers. Key Responsibilities
As a Baker with SSP Canada, you will:
- Prepare and Bake: Create a variety of baked goods such as donuts, muffins, croissants, cookies, bread, and other pastries according to company standards.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils in your work area.
- Product Handling: Properly handle, store, and rotate all products while following safety regulations.
- Food Presentation: Check to ensure food is served and displayed according to company standards.
- General Cleaning: Perform cleaning tasks assigned by your supervisor to adhere to health standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a food service environment, with previous baking experience required.
- Education: High school diploma preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes accurately and ensure product quality.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Security: Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance.
