Position: Part-Time Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting adidas merchandise by providing detailed information about product materials, technology, and functionality.
- Deliver excellent customer service by actively listening to customers' needs and offering tailored product recommendations.
- Drive sales by using adidas’ selling techniques and leveraging the in-store AOS system when applicable.
- Complete customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and debit sales.
- Maintain store appearance by processing and replenishing merchandise and addressing customer inquiries.
- Stay updated on adidas’ products, promotions, and advertising campaigns to better assist customers.
- Contribute to a supportive team environment by respecting co-workers and working collaboratively.
- Perform additional tasks such as answering phone inquiries and following inventory control procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers and fractions.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
- Familiarity with using a point-of-sale system and understanding cash register functions.
- Strong decision-making, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as well as overtime during peak periods like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Back-to-School.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, frequently walking, reaching, and lifting up to 12 kg regularly and 34 kg occasionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
- Retail experience (three to six months) is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and French (verbal and written).
