Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring every customer has a positive experience. Your key tasks include:
Customer Interaction:
- Act as a brand ambassador by providing exceptional customer service.
- Build strong relationships with customers and assist with product recommendations.
- Address and escalate customer concerns when necessary.
Store Operations:
- Maintain knowledge of product selection, features, and current promotions.
- Support team members in achieving sales goals.
- Process cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
Stock and Maintenance:
- Replenish inventory and organize store displays.
- Perform basic shipping and receiving tasks.
- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Shift Leader to meet store objectives.
- Participate in other assigned directives as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during busy holiday seasons.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable using ladders up to 10 feet.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, though not required.
