Originally established by the Government of Kerala as an advanced centre for medical specialties, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) metamorphosed into an Institution of National Importance with the status of a University in 1980 under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The Institute has three wings - the Hospital, Biomedical Technology Wing and the Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies.

1. Nursing Officer

Vacancies : 40

Qualification

• B.Sc. (Nursing).
• Registration with Nursing Council
• 2 years experience in bedside nursing/ 2-year Post-Basic Nursing Diploma Course

2. Speech Therapist

Vacancies : 1

Qualification

• M.Sc. (Speech Language Pathology) /MSc (Audiology)/ Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology.
• One year experience in the assessment and rehabilitation of Neuro communication disorders. 
• Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India

3. Technical Assistant

Vacancies : 07

Qualification

• BSc (60% marks)
• Minimum 1 year work experience

4. Lib-cum-Documentation Asst

Vacancies : 02

Qualification

• 60% marks in Degree 
• 60% marks in BLISc 
• 3 years experience in the job. 

4. Social Worker

Vacancies : 01

Qualification

• 60% marks in 2 year Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• 1 year experience in the job.
• Knowledge in computer operation

5. Medical Records Assistant

Vacancies : 01

Qualification

• B.Sc Biological Science with DMRSc/BMRSc (1 year Certificate/Diploma Course). 
• 3 years experience in the job
