1. Project Engineer

Job Description 

  • Create and maintain good working relationships with clients
  • Manage the project engineering team (2 to 3 persons)
  • Develop the project engineering team by guiding, coaching and training
  • Minimum B.Sc. Engineering
  • Minimum 12 years post graduate experience.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the refining and petrochemical industries.

2. Contracts Manager

Job Description 

  • Minimum BSc Engineering or equivalent
  • Qualified as Certified Contracts Manager by professional association
  • Prepare and issue monthly WOOD Commercial Executive Project Report
  • Maintain WOOD contract commercial records and files
  • Ensuring Assigned Projects are appropriately resourced
  • Review all subcontracts prior to and after award by WOOD to financial closure

3. Senior Instrument Engineer

Job Description 

  • Minimum ten years’ experience in major oil / gas projects in the capacity of instrument engineer with engineering contractor / PMC organization
  • Degree in the relevant engineering discipline
  • Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be adopted during EPC phases of oil / gas projects
  • Must have the capacity to supervise and manage EPC Contractor and development of detail design deliverables
  • Participation with contribution during P&ID reviews, factory and field testing of telecom systems shall be demonstrable during project execution

4. Junior Cost Engineer

Job Description 

  • Degree in relevant technical or business discipline or can be substituted by suitable industry experience.
  • Knowledge and application of Cost Engineering principles.
  • 3-5 years experience in cost or estimating positions.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction projects in the oil and gas industry, preferably in both onshore and offshore environment.
  • Good knowledge of computerised Cost Management and reporting systems preferred together with ability to consolidate cost data from a number of sources for overall presentation.
  • In-depth understanding of project management principles and techniques.
  • Good supervisory skills.
  • Good understanding of Cost Control, Estimating, Change Control and Risk Analysis.

5. Estimator

Job Description 

  • Engineering Degree and/or Certification as a Cost Estimator or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience in capital projects estimating positions
  • Experience with onshore brownfield and greenfield work scope and estimating and able to deliver both using traditional bottoms up detailed estimate methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • Fully versed with Cost Estimating/Risk Tools.
