Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a vital role in the store’s success by:
Customer Engagement:
- Acting as a Kitchen Stuff Plus ambassador by representing the store with professionalism.
- Building strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service.
- Resolving or escalating customer concerns effectively.
Store Operations:
- Maintaining product knowledge, including features, benefits, and promotions.
- Collaborating with team members to meet sales goals.
- Completing cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
Stock and Maintenance:
- Assisting with inventory replenishment and merchandise displays.
- Performing basic shipping and receiving tasks.
- Ensuring the store is safe, clean, and inviting.
Team Collaboration:
- Working closely with Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and Shift Leaders to maintain smooth operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Basic computer skills with the capacity to learn new systems quickly.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak holiday hours.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable using ladders up to 10 feet.
- Capability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an asset but not required.
