Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Front Store Manager, you will work closely with the Front Store Manager (FSM) to ensure the store runs smoothly and achieves its goals. Your responsibilities include:
Operations:
- Maintaining store standards to enhance customer experience and drive traffic.
- Optimizing product flow from the backroom to the sales floor.
- Assisting with labour scheduling using Workforce Management (WFM) tools to maximize productivity.
- Ensuring adequate staffing levels to support business needs.
Human Resources:
- Supporting hiring processes for various departments, excluding the pharmacy.
- Complying with Human Resources standards and wage administration guidelines.
- Leading and motivating staff through core values and fostering team engagement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a mix of leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills, including:
- Planning and Decision-Making Skills: Ability to prepare for inventory management, control expenses, and prioritize tasks.
