Job Overview
Biryaniwalla Cambridge is hiring experienced cooks to join its team in a dynamic restaurant setting. This permanent, full-time role offers flexible hours across various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to deliver exceptional dishes.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, specializing in South Indian and East Indian cuisines.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas for quality and compliance.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and handling procedures.
- Order necessary supplies and equipment while maintaining kitchen inventory.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations.
- Recruit and hire staff to support restaurant needs.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and work areas, ensuring hygiene standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, keeping up with the fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Ability to handle heavy loads, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding work with attention to detail.
