Position: Part-Time Sales Associate
Adidas is looking for passionate and customer-focused individuals to join its team as Part-Time Sales Associates at the Mirabel store. This role provides an exciting opportunity to represent a world-renowned brand while delivering exceptional service to customers and assisting them in selecting the best products for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in choosing adidas products, offering information about materials, technology, and functionality.
- Uphold adidas' customer service standards by attentively listening to customers' needs and providing product recommendations.
- Drive sales by using adidas' selling techniques and in-store systems when available.
- Accurately complete customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Maintain the store's appearance, assist with restocking inventory, and help customers with inquiries.
- Stay informed about adidas’ products, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by respecting and collaborating with colleagues.
- Handle additional tasks such as answering phones and following inventory control procedures as directed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong ability to read and understand instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with both customers and team members.
- Basic math skills, including handling whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Problem-solving abilities to manage standard situations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong customer service and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with overtime during peak periods such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Back-to-School.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 12 kg regularly and 25 kg occasionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (in progress or completed).
- Retail experience (three to six months) preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and French (verbal and written).
